1. Melt your chocolate in a microwave or double boiler. If using a microwave, melt the chocolate in 30-second increments, stirring after each interval until the chocolate is fully melted.

2. Assemble the chocolate fountain according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This will usually involve attaching the base, bowl, and auger (the central shaft that helps circulate the chocolate).

3. Fill the bowl with the melted chocolate, making sure not to overfill it.

4. Turn on the chocolate fountain and allow the chocolate to start flowing.

5. Skewer your dipping items (such as fruit, cookies, or pretzels) and dip them into the flowing chocolate.

6. Enjoy! Be sure to keep an eye on the chocolate level and refill as needed. When you’re finished, turn off the chocolate fountain and disassemble it for cleaning.
